This is a 35' Steve Ogilvie 8 lane commercial slot car track #298This track has all components including track power supply and PC + printer. The PC interfaces with the track to provide lap count and time which is displayed on a VGA screen and can also be printed on an old dot-matrix printer.The track is currently not assembled. Assembly is no small task, but it is very logical. I can provide guidance, I don't mind. I am no expert. I only assembled and used the track one time for an event and kept it up for a few months. Owning one of these things requires some serious space and some knowledge and willingness to deal with it and make it work. It is going to be a project, but all the components are present.I paid $3500.00 for the track in 2018.The track is 35 ft. x 12 ft.No cars or controllers are included. Other stuff visible in some of the pictures is also not included Message me with any questions Issues:A previous owner modified the track to simplify the layout and improve the functionality. The original design had some intersecting lanes that never worked correctly. Small pieces of track would be swapped to route the cars. Now there is a simple ability to swap out a large portion of the track under the footbridge to convert the track to an oval. These swap panels are included, as well as the original panels.Several parts of the track will need new braid, or at least to have the existing braid to be re-glued. If this track is put back into real service at a slot car center, it would be worth a total re-braid. It's a job, for sure, but not actually difficult to do. It is not as fast as larger more open tracks, but it is really cool and it is easy to see your car at all points of the track.Steve Ogilvie Custom Tracks is considered to be the gold standard maker of commercial slot car tracks.The lap counter PC also controls the track via a PCI board in the PC itself. The software can adjust track voltage and as well as count laps. It can display the race stats live so drivers and fans can follow the action. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
